Depression

Anxiety and Stress

Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is a feeling of personal worth. It is important to be able to value yourself regardless of your current state of personal achievement, beauty, or intelligence. In our society achievement is not only valued, but demanded in so many venues of our lives. Your self-esteem creates the foundation for a full life, great relationships, and a feeling of well-being. Understanding the working mechanisms of a healthy self-esteem are integrated into therapy. Performance and Relationship Satisfaction is often effected by low-self esteem. STRESS  MANAGEMENT

 

 

ARE YOU A HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL PERSON?

 

            How Heavy Is a Glass of Water?  Would you say 8 ounces..15…..20 ounces?

 

The weight doesn’t matter at all. It depends on how long you hold it? If I hold it for a

Minute, that’s not a problem.  If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If

I hold it for a day you will need to call an ambulance.

 

In each case the glass is the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it feels.  

That’s the way it is with stress. If we care our burdens all the time, sooner or later the

burden becomes increasingly heavy and we cannot carry on.

 

As with the water glass you will need to put it down for a while before holding it

again.   When we are refreshed, we can hold the burden again.  Put your burden

down at night and pick them up again in the morning.  They will be waiting for you.
